So SMC and I decided that we needed curtains in the kitchen because the sun in the morning is so bright. Since I just got the Bernina and we just got the sewing table up, i decided that it was the perfect time to try and whip up some curtains. I could have just done a basic rod pocket panel, but since I don't do anything small...I chose the Sew-4-Home Nature Brights Kitchen: Tab Top Panel Curtains Tutorial..you can find that here.
They turned out pretty well, I'll try to get more pictures up later but the hardest part for sure was the math, i cut the lining pieces too short so I ended up having to un-hem them and leave the lining raw edged, and the panels and a little two narrow but since they will probably be tied back most of the time it's not the end of the world. Its a super simple system and once you do the calculations they go together pretty fast! ( i love the little flange between the two colors..although i don't know who thought that calling it a flange was a good idea..reminds me of plumbing..)
